Justin Allison’s repertoire draws extensively from the great american songbook and leans heavily on compositions from well known writers Cole Porter, Ira and George Gershwin, Rogers and Hart, Lerner and Lowe, Harry Warren, and many others. Included are tunes from jazz greats Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Horace Silver, Miles Davis, Nat King Cole, Dave Brubeck, and others.

From the beautiful and bountiful music of Brazil, the bossa nova and sambas of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Dori Caymmi, Joao Bosco, Djavan, Luis Bonfa, Ivan Lins, and many more are represented.

Contemporary authors and artists such as Sting, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Michael Franks, George Benson, Pat Metheny, Kenny Rankin, and Bob Marley are interpreted by this guitarist-vocalist.

Justin has shared the stage and opened shows for a diversity of talent including Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Tuck and Patti, George Benson, Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, and Tito Puente.
